Woody Shackleton
Retired Sales Executive
Woody Shackleton is a retired sales executive from the technology sector and Silicon Valley. He served in numerous sales and management capacities during a 16-year tenure with IBM in the 1970s and '80s. As principal sales executive, he helped launch Foundry Networks in 1997, a networking products startup that experienced dramatic growth and profitablity before going public in 1999 and becoming one of the world's leading high performance networking companies.
Mr. Shackleton serves on the Board of the Northern California Council of the Girl Scouts of America and on the Advisory Board of SchoolForce, a nonprofit public education foundation. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Colorado in 1973 with a BA degree in Political Science. He attended the Stanford Business School Executive Education Program in 1992.
