Karen Finerman

Karen Finerman graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Economics. She began her career as a risk arbitrageur for the Belzberg family and then for Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. In 1992 she co-founded the hedge fund Metropolitan Capital Advisors, Inc. which she continues to manage. Ms. Finerman is on the Board of Trustees of the Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. She lives in New York with her husband, private equity investor Lawrence Golub, and their two sets of twins.
