David Iverson

David Iverson has been the producer and anchor of national, regional and local specials for public broadcasting for 30 years. He is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he hosts programs for KQED public radio and television.
David was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2004. He’s the writer, correspondent and co-producer-director of the documentary My Father, My Brother and Me, which aired on the PBS Frontline series in February 2009. Setting off on a personal journey, in the documentary David explores the scientific, ethical, and political debate that surrounds Parkinson’s disease. Familial portraits provide a structure for the film, which he fills in with reporting that looks back at Parkinson’s research and forward to possible treatments and cures.
