Richie Rothenberg

Richie Rothenberg is managing director of 1st Century Bank, a private commercial bank located in Century City, California, where he works extensively with senior management and the private banking team to identify and develop customers.

Richie, 41, was diagnosed with young-onset Parkinson’s disease in August 2004. He became acquainted with Michael J. Fox and the Foundation in October 2004 and has participated as an event committee member in four Los Angeles-area fundraisers for MJFF since 2005.

Richie is a board member of his Temple in Los Angeles – IKAR – a Jewish spiritual community that stands at the intersection of spirituality and social justice. He is a single dad with two terrific kids: Oliver, 11, a science and math whiz who wants to discover a cure for Parkinson's and fix the global economy (in that order), and Martha, 8, who wants to play soccer and basketball forever.
