Alison Urkowitz

Research Programs
Alison Urkowitz joined the Foundation in May 2005 as a Research Program Officer and was promoted to Associate Director, Research Programs, in June 2006. Prior to joining the Foundation, Ms. Urkowitz graduated from NYU's Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service with an MPA in Public and Nonprofit Management and Policy. She also spent five years working in the media buying departments of Zenithmedia and Initiative Media, negotiating and managing the national television advertising campaigns of various global clients. Ms. Urkowitz holds a BA in Sociology from Tufts University with a minor in Communications.
