Clinical Discovery Program 2007

03-29-2007

The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research (MJFF) announces the launch of Clinical Discovery Grants for Parkinson’s Disease Research 2007. Under this program, researchers are invited to submit grant applications to conduct novel or critical clinical research seeking to improve treatment of PD and its complications. The intent of this program is to encourage patient-oriented investigation by supporting well-designed clinical research projects focused on potentially high-impact approaches that, if successful, should lead to improved treatment of PD within 5 years. Patient-oriented investigation is defined by the active recruitment and participation of consenting human subjects. The MJFF employs an expedited, abbreviated granting mechanism to accelerate discoveries and hopefully apply findings to PD patients more quickly.

Applicants may request a project period of up to three years, with an annual budget of up to $200,000 for all direct costs of the work proposed, in addition to indirect costs of up to 25 percent of direct costs.

We employ an expedited, abbreviated granting mechanism to accelerate discoveries and hopefully translate findings to PD patients more quickly. Please click on the links below for all of the application process information.
