Continue the CDC’s Program to Better Understand Parkinson’s Disease

Treating and ultimately curing Parkinson’s disease requires understanding patterns and trends of the disease.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)’s National Neurological Conditions Surveillance System has been using existing data to better estimate the prevalence of Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis. The first round of data — critical to better understanding Parkinson’s — will be released later this year.

Without Congressional action, this program will end this year. Join us today in asking Congress to continue this important program. We need your voice!
