Josh Gottesman joined the Foundation in 2019 and serves as an officer on the Foundation's Sponsored Studies team, working to develop a new cohort study on prodromal Parkinson’s disease.
Prior to joining MJFF, Josh was a research fellow at the Asia Society Policy Institute focusing on economic relations and international philanthropy. Immediately before this, he was a Fulbright Scholar to China studying economic history, with a particular focus on agricultural and policy development.
Josh holds an M.A. in Regional Studies-East Asia from Columbia University, and a B.A. in Government and Chinese Language & Literature from Connecticut College.
