Melanie joined the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research in April 2019 as a Community Events Officer, where she managed the logistics and operations for all Official Fox Trot and Tour de Fox events in the eastern U.S. region until transitioning to the Advancement team in February 2020.
In her new role as Advancement Officer for the Northeast, Melanie supports the Foundation's efforts to engage the broader community in our mission to speed a cure. She attends meetings and events with Parkinson's patients, caregivers, donors and other MJFF constituents and stakeholders and helps to ensure that the Foundation raises sufficient dollars to fund its ambitious research agenda.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Melanie was a Senior Program Manager at CBI, a division of Informa, where she developed executive-level conferences for the life sciences industry and managed partnerships with key stakeholders. Melanie graduated from Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania in 2015 with dual BA degrees in International Studies and French. Originally from Massachusetts, she currently resides in Long Island City, Queens, NY.
