2026 Climb Mt. Whitney Application

Challenge yourself to a powerful physical and mental feat as you climb Mount Whitney, the highest peak in the contiguous United States. Ascend to 14,505 feet with Team Fox, turning every step into support for Parkinson’s research through The Michael J. Fox Foundation. One climb. One cause. Lasting impact.

Team Fox athletes must commit to a fundraising minimum before joining the team. The fundraising minimum for the 2026 Climb Mt. Whitney is $5,500.

FUNDRAISING COMMITMENT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

By joining Team Fox for the Mt. Whitney climb in exchange for raising a minimum of $5,500 due no later than September 13, 2026. All participants are responsible for purchasing their own flight, needed food, and misc. personal camping/hiking gear.

CONFIRMATION OF TERMS

I understand I am responsible for all charges if I have not fulfilled my commitment amount by September 13, 2026. If I am not able to participate in the Mt. Whitney climb due to injury or other circumstances, I will still be required to fulfill the commitment amount by check(s) or credit card(s) by September 13, 2026. I understand I am responsible for providing my credit card information electronically upon creation of my Team Fox fundraising dashboard. I will be charged a $25 registration fee. I understand I am not on the team until officially notified by a member of the Team Fox staff.

STATEMENT OF INTENT & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

Yes, if selected for the team I authorize the Michael J. Fox Foundation to use any photographs or video taken in conjunction with this Team Fox event for future promotional purposes including but not limited to, print and social media.

Yes, if selected for the team I would like to join Team Fox for the Mt. Whitney climb and commit to the terms described above. By signing below, I understand that I am responsible for my fundraising commitment and any additional costs associated with the race or travel to the event. I waive and release Team Fox and The Michael J. Fox Foundation from all liabilities that may arise from my participation in the event.
