Team Fox has a limited number of entries available for the 2027 GENERALI BERLIN-MARATHON. Please complete the application below to be considered for a spot on the team. Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. If we are able to welcome you to the team, a member of the Team Fox staff will contact you directly to confirm your acceptance and provide next steps.

Team Fox Athlete Benefits and Commitment

Athletes accepted to Team Fox will receive guaranteed entry to the marathon and commit to fundraising a minimum of $4,000 by September 20, 2027. If the $4,000 fundraising commitment is not met by September 20, 2027, the athlete agrees to cover the remaining balance. To ensure their fundraising is on track, athletes also agree to meet 30% of their fundraising commitment ($1,200) by May 31, 2027.

FUNDRAISING COMMITMENT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

By joining Team Fox for the 2027 GENERALI BERLIN-MARATHON, you will be given guaranteed entry for the 2027 GENERALI BERLIN-MARATHON in exchange for raising $4,000 due no later than September 20, 2027. You must meet 30% of your commitment ($1,200) by May 31, 2027. You will be responsible for completing both Team Fox registration and race registration before all relevant deadlines.

If you are unable to participate in the 2027 GENERALI BERLIN-MARATHON due to injury or other circumstances, you will still be required to fulfill the full commitment amount by check(s) or credit card(s) by September 20, 2027, and you will not be able to defer your entry.

CONFIRMATION OF TERMS

If selected for the team I understand I am responsible for all charges if I have not fulfilled my commitment amount by September 20, 2027. If I am not able to participate in the 2027 GENERALI BERLIN-MARATHON due to injury or other circumstances, I will still be required to fulfill the full commitment amount by check(s) or credit card(s) by September 20, 2027, and I will not be able to defer my entry. I understand I am responsible for claiming my guaranteed entry, and will pay all registration fees associated with my participation. I understand I am responsible for providing my credit card information electronically upon creation of my Team Fox fundraising page. I understand that I will be charged a $5 registration fee to securely store my credit card on file. I understand I am not on the team until officially notified by a member of the Team Fox staff.

I have read the above terms and understand the conditions of joining Team Fox at the 2027 GENERALI BERLIN-MARATHON.

STATEMENT OF INTENT & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

I am solely responsible for my own health and safety. I represent and warrant that I am physically able to participate in the 2027 GENERALI BERLIN-MARATHON supported by The Michael J. Fox Foundation.

I agree, for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators, to not sue and to release, indemnify, and hold harmless, The Michael J. Fox Foundation; its affiliates, officers, directors, volunteers, and employees; and all sponsoring businesses and organizations, their agents, and employees; from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of my participation in this event and related activities, whether it results from the negligence of any of the above or from any other cause.

I authorize The Michael J. Fox Foundation to take and use photographs and/or videos of me during the event, for publicity, promotion, and/or for use in The Michael J. Fox Foundation’s future media related needs.
