Thank you for your interest in joining the Tokyo Marathon 2027. Team Fox is thrilled to be a charity partner for this race.

Team Fox Athlete ($7,500):
By joining as a Team Fox Athlete, you will receive a complimentary entry to the marathon and commit to a fundraising minimum of $7,500 to be raised by March 14, 2027*. As a Team Fox Athlete, you will receive a complimentary race jersey, fundraising support from staff, and the opportunity to connect with fellow Team Fox athletes.

*If your $7,500 fundraising commitment is not met by March 14, 2027, athletes agree to cover the remaining balance.

Bonus Athlete:
Already have an entry to the Tokyo Marathon 2027 and want to support Team Fox? We invite you to join as a Bonus Athlete. Bonus Athletes are asked to fundraise a minimum of $750 and will receive a complimentary Team Fox jersey.

FUNDRAISING COMMITMENT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

By joining Team Fox for the Tokyo Marathon 2027, you will be given guaranteed entry for the race of your choosing in exchange for raising a minimum of $7,500 due no later than March 14, 2027. 50% of your commitment must be raised by October 11, 2026 to receive official race registration. You will be responsible for completing both Team Fox registration and race registration before all relevant deadlines.

CONFIRMATION OF TERMS

If selected for the team I understand I am responsible for all charges if I have not fulfilled my commitment amount by March 14, 2027. If I am not able to participate in the Tokyo Marathon 2027 due to injury or other circumstances, I will still be required to fulfill the 50% commitment amount by check(s) or credit card(s) by March 14, 2027. I understand I am responsible for claiming my guaranteed entry, and will pay all registration fees associated with my participation. I understand I am responsible for providing my credit card information electronically upon creation of my Team Fox fundraising page. I understand that I will be charged a registration fee to securely store my credit card on file. I understand I am not on the team until officially notified by a member of the Team Fox staff.

STATEMENT OF INTENT & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

I am solely responsible for my own health and safety. I represent and warrant that I am physically able to participate in the Tokyo Marathon 2027.

I agree, for myself, my heirs, executors, and administrators, to not sue and to release, indemnify, and hold harmless, The Michael J. Fox Foundation; its affiliates, officers, directors, volunteers, and employees; and all sponsoring businesses and organizations, their agents, and employees; from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of my participation in this event and related activities, whether it results from the negligence of any of the above or from any other cause.

I authorize The Michael J. Fox Foundation to take and use photographs and/or videos of me during the event, for publicity, promotion, and/or for use in The Michael J. Fox Foundation’s future media related needs.
