2019 MJFF Researcher Hill Day Application
Thank you for your interest in The Michael J. Fox Foundation’s 2019 Researcher Hill Day.

This event brings scientists and research professionals to Capitol Hill to advocate for increased federal investments in biomedical research. 

The event will take place February 25 – 26, 2019, at the Washington Court Hotel in Washington, D.C. Programming will begin at 4 p.m. on the 25th and conclude by 6 p.m. on the 26th. Applicants must be available for the entirety of the event.

  • Monday, February 25: Attendees will take part in advocacy training to prepare for meetings with members of Congress. Meeting talking points and educational materials will be provided by the Foundation. The training will include a working dinner.
  • Tuesday, February 26: Attendees will travel to Capitol Hill to conduct meetings with their lawmakers and advocate for federal research funding. 

Please complete this application so we can learn more about your research and your congressional district. Applicants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Accepted applicants will receive travel and hotel accommodations, select meals, and reimbursement for transportation to and from the airport/train station and Capitol Hill.  

Please complete your application by Friday, January 18, 2019. All individuals will be informed as to whether or not they have been invited to attend Researcher Hill Day by Monday, January 28, via email.
