On August 11, 2012, Elliott Bay Marina (EBM) in Seattle, WA, is hosting its first Team Fox event, the inaugural Elliott Bay Paddle Day. Families and paddle-lovers alike are invited to participate in individual races or relay events along the Marina’s picturesque docks. Races are $10 per person and all proceeds will benefit Team Fox.

The event is organized by EBM’s General Manager, Dwight Jones, whose father has Parkinson’s disease (PD). He hopes that by hosting a fun family event, he will raise funds and awareness for PD. He says, “It means that we can help find a cure for Parkinson’s and it gives me a tangible way to help make that happen and thus—hopefully—help my father.”
