Michael J. Fox To Speak on How #ArtPropelstheWorld

“If art and culture are truly going to be central to our society, they must adapt a forward-thinking and engaged perspective. The Lincoln Center Global Exchange is an important step in that regard.” -Jed Bernstein

On September 18, Michael J. Fox will be a featured speaker at the inaugural Lincoln Center Global Exchange in New York City, a global conference designed to explore how the arts can influence society and their intersection with education, media, urban development and science.

The event will bring together nearly 200 leaders from more than 20 countries with a goal on inspiring investment in the arts to build healthy communities.

In one talk, Michael will explore the role art and culture can play in helping people navigate the challenges of brain disorders — and support critical research efforts. He will be joined onstage by MJFF Contributing Editor and Patient Council member David Iverson and David Leventhal, former principal dancer and current executive director of the Mark Morris' Dance for PD program.
