Delaware Pancakes Heats Up the Griddles for 6th Annual Breakfast

On Saturday, September 20 Delaware Pancakes for Parkinson’s will host its 6th annual pancake breakfast at The Sanford School in Hockessin, Delaware. Pillsbury returns as sponsor this year, providing their pre-mixed, refrigerated pancake batter for the event.

From 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. nearly a dozen griddle teams will take their turn flipping pancakes for hungry guests. This family-friendly event is hosted by a committee of passionate community members — including MJFF’s co-founder and executive vice chairman, Debi Brooks.

Last year, more than 1,000 community members enjoyed entertainment and activities over breakfast while raising $110,000 on behalf of Team Fox. To date, the event has raised over $400,000 cumulatively and this year hopes to cross the half-million mark.

The event is open to the community, and admission is $10 per person at the door. For more information about Delaware Pancakes for Parkinson’s or to contribute directly to one of the competing griddle teams, visit their Team Fox page. See you for breakfast!
