On May 9, the Kober family held their first annual Tee Off Fore Parkinson's golf outing at Royce Brook Golf Club in Hillsborough, NJ. With 130 golf participants and over 200 dinner guests at the reception that followed, the event was a sold out, hole-in-one success!

While the Kobers had set an initial fundraising goal of $25,000 for their first event, recent tallies show that they will far surpass their target with over $85,000 raised through their collective efforts. Donations are still coming in from supporters.

Ignited by the support of his family and close network of college friends, Tom Kober, who lives with Parkinson's, began spearheading the event last Fall. Despite the quick turnaround, the unwavering support of his family and friends quickened the momentum of their success and resulted in an overwhelming number of hole sponsorships, raffle prizes, silent auction items and eager attendees. 

In a follow-up email to his supporters, Tom expressed his thanks: "The day's events were a spectacular success and our preliminary financial results are nothing short of remarkable due to your individual and collective generosity. We are absolutely thrilled with the day's results, humbled by your support and thankful beyond measure for your generosity. You are truly making a difference in the race to find a cure for PD."
