Over the course of the last 3 weeks, a collective 44,000+ miles have been walked, run and biked through our inaugural Miles for a Cure Challenge. As a result of those 44,000+ miles—each earning one dollar thanks to our Miles for a Cure sponsor Medtronic DBS Therapy—over $44,000 has been raised to help fund critical Parkinson’s disease research! And now, you have the chance to triple the impact.
This weekend only (Oct. 26 and 27), each mile that is logged will raise $3 to benefit The Michael J. Fox Foundation. Whether you are training for an upcoming race, swinging by your local trailhead with friends or simply enjoying a leisurely walk around the neighborhood with your family, you have the chance to make a difference. The support that we have seen from the Foundation's friends and community has been tremendous, and we’re not the only ones who have been touched.
