Monday July 28: Join Our #HealthTalk Twitter Chat on Living with Parkinson's

The Michael J. Fox Foundation (@MichaelJFoxOrg on Twitter) will participate in a Twitter Chat, hosted by Everyday Health on Monday, July 28 at 1 p.m. EST.

The #HealthTalk chat will cover topics related to living with Parkinson’s — everything from diet and exercise to getting involved in the patient community. Lawrence Severt, MD, PhD, of Beth Israel Medical Center will be our guest physician.

Learn about some of the common symptoms of PD, tips for managing a PD diagnosis and places to find support. The Davis Phinney Foundation (@DavisPhinneyFND) and the Parkinson’s Action Network (@PANtweets) will also be on hand to answer questions related to living well with PD and ways to get involved in Parkinson’s policy.

To participate, simply use and follow the hashtag #HealthTalk on Monday, July 28 from 1 to 2 p.m. EST.

What's a Twitter Chat?

A Twitter chat is a free exchange of ideas between participants around a specific topic. Chats are public events and are open to anyone with a Twitter account; you don’t have to be a longtime user to participate, either. Create a free Twitter account and join us on Tuesday.
