Janet Reno, First Female U.S. Attorney General, Dies

Janet Reno, the first woman to hold the position of attorney general of the United States, died on November 7 at the age of 78. Reno was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1995 while serving in office. Among her many achievements, she was a member of the Honorary Council of the former Parkinson's Action Network, which merged with The Michael J. Fox Foundation in June.
