Meet MJFF at World Parkinson Congress 2016

The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF) is attending the upcoming World Parkinson Congress in Portland, Oregon and we have a lot to share with you! Whether you're a person with Parkinson's, loved one, caregiver, health care professional, researcher or clinician, there's something for you. We'll be hosting a booth in the exhibit hall, presenting exciting research updates and discussing ways to get involved in clinical research.

VISIT MJFF AT BOOTH #407

  • Ask the Experts: Between 12 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, speak with our Parkinson's experts, Rachel Dolhun, MD (@RachelDolhunMD on Twitter), our MJFF movement disorder specialist, and Katie Kopil, PhD, one of our staff scientists.
  • Participate in the Passport Program: MJFF is one of the 10 organizations participating in the Passport Raffle Program. Don't forget to collect your stamp at our booth.
  • Enter the MJFF Raffle Giveaways: MJFF is holding its own raffle! You can enter by signing up to receive the latest news and updates from MJFF. Drawings will be held Wednesday and Thursday, and prizes will include MJFF-branded materials.
  • Take a picture at our Fox Photo Booth: While you're at the booth, get your picture taken. It's a great way to remember your time at WPC this year.

ADDITIONAL WAYS TO CONNECT WITH MJFF AT WPC 2016

  • Attend Intel's Presentation on Wearable Devices and Big Data Analytics on Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. to 12:55 p.m. Intel Corporation will be giving a presentation entitled, "From Subjective to Objective -- Measuring PD Symptoms & Progression Through Wearable Devices and Big Data Analytics" on the MJFF-Intel collaboration using wearable devices and mobile technology to generate novel, objective measures in Parkinson's disease research. The presentation will be held in the Exhibit Hall Theater.
