What’s the secret to Michael J. Fox’s 25-year marriage? He seals the deal with Brooklyn pizza.
“On our 24th anniversary, we woke up and said I guess this worked, sign up for another 25. Then we cemented it with pizza in Brooklyn,” he told Ellen Degeneres on the Jan. 31 episode of her show.
When Ellen asked what he does that irritates his wife (after so many years, there’s bound to be something), he revealed that the very optimism that makes him such an inspiration can also be a little annoying, at least to Tracy. She’s more of a realist, pessimist and hypochondriac, Fox said.
“If she gets a blister on her toe, her foot’s coming off,” he said. “The thing that bugs her the most is when I say ‘Oh well.’ She says don’t say oh well!”
In another smart move, he failed to mention anything his wife does that bothers him.
