Congratulations to Michael J. Fox for receiving a 2014 Golden Globe nomination for his role as Mike Henry on “The Michael J. Fox Show.” Up for Best Actor in a Television Comedy Series, Michael is in good company with fellow nominees Jason Bateman, Don Cheadle, Jim Parsons and Andy Samberg.

Michael has taken home four Golden Globes in the past for his roles on Family Ties and Spin City. Last year, Michael and Tracy’s son, Sam Fox, served as Mr. Golden Globes, assisting in the ceremony.

The 71st Golden Globe Awards will air on January 12, hosted by the lovely and talented comedic duo of Tina Fey (who performed at our 2013 gala A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson’s) and Amy Poehler.

Did you know? Michael also received a Grammy for best spoken world album in 2010 for Always Looking Up: Adventures of An Incurable Optimist.
