This past Sunday, Michael J. Fox joined dozens of local supporters to participate in one of 49 climbs taking place as part of Tour de Fox. Alongside ultra-athlete and MJFF staff member Sam Fox (no relation), Michael and 25 hikers reached the summit of White Butte, North Dakota’s highest point, located 3,507 feet above sea level.

The hike is part of the Tour’s 14,000-mile biking and climbing journey across the United States to raise $1 million for Parkinson’s research. So far, Sam and his crew have made their way through 32 states, stopping to climb the highest peak in each, and raised more than $500,000 toward his goal.
