Save the Date: 6th Annual North Shore Walk for PD in Swampscott, MA, on 10/20

Anna Wistran Wolfe has fervently supported Parkinson’s research since she joined Team Fox in 2008. Her annual North Shore Walk for Parkinson’s Disease in Swampscott, MA, has raised more than $61,000 for the Foundation and has helped promote awareness of PD in her community. Inspiration for the event comes from her father, Daniel, a retired cardiologist who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 1997.

The walk follows a 3-mile route that starts at Swampscott’s First Church Congregational. There is a $25 registration fee and free t-shirts will be given to the first 100 registrants. Anna is changing things up for this year’s event, inviting walkers to join Team Fox as part of the North Shore Walk team and raise funds in honor of someone they know living with Parkinson’s.

Anna hopes to raise $20,000, which would make this year’s event the most successful yet. If you are interested in walking or joining her team, visit www.teamfox.org/goto/northshorewalk for more information or check out her Facebook page.
