On the heels of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday is a national day of giving back to thousands of charitable organizations supporting causes worldwide. Over 8,000 partners, including MJFF, are joining Giving Tuesday this year to encourage others to learn more about their mission. Crain’s New York recently spoke with MJFF’s Co-Founder and Executive Vice Chairman Debi Brooks about the Foundation’s plans for this year’s Giving Tuesday.

We kicked off the giving season last month by asking our online community to share why they’re speeding a cure for Parkinson’s through our #UNselfie campaign. To date, over 70 #unselfies have been shared, illustrating the urgent need for a Parkinson's cure.
