Each year, Oxford College of Emory University holds a fall family weekend that invites parents and families to meet Oxford College faculty, staff and alumni and enjoy a range of fun, informative activities for the whole family. This year, it also includes a Family Weekend 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run that will be benefit MJFF. The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 24 at 8:00 a.m. on Emory's beautiful Oxford College campus, and all proceeds from the event will go directly to Team Fox.

For the past three years, the 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run have been staples of the Family Weekend festivities, but this year the excitement and anticipation will reach new heights thanks to Amy Covington, an Oxford College employee, who came up with the idea of turning the 5K and Fun Run into a Team Fox fundraiser. Amy recently lost her father to complications associated with Parkinson's disease, and was eager to align this event with the mission of MJFF.
