The Parkinson’s Minute: A Day in the Life with a Parkinson’s Disease Researcher

What will make the most difference in the lives of Parkinson’s patients, both now and in the future?  It’s a question Patient Council member and “Parkinson’s Minute” host Dave Iverson asks in the latest version of the video series.

The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF) is devoted to investing resources into addressing the critical unmet needs of people living with Parkinson’s today — both in the search for drugs to slow the disease’s progression, and for better ways to address the everyday problems that patients confront.  Of course, the best way to understand patient need is to go straight to the source and consult those with PD. MJFF supports researchers throughout the world, including William Langston, MD, who are doing just this.

In this edition of “The Parkinson’s Minute,” we spend a day in the life with Dr. Langston at The Parkinson’s Institute in Sunnyvale, California, a facility where basic research, clinical studies and patient care all exist under the same roof.

The Parkinson's Minute is photographed and edited by Harry Gregory. Production facilities and assistance provided by Kikim Media.
