Partners in Parkinson’s, the educational initiative developed by The Michael J. Fox Foundation and AbbVie, hit the West Coast this past weekend with its third event, hosted in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Darcy Blake, a panelist in “The Many Faces of Parkinson’s Disease” morning session and a founding member of the community organization Parkinson’s Women Support, shared her first-hand experience in a blog post:
The Parkinson’s Women Support was there in an outstanding turnout. We exchanged lots of emails with people we met and anticipate some new faces at our lunches. Clearly this is a great traveling event, and it was a day well spent.
