2013 could be a pivotal year in Parkinson’s disease (PD) research, with expected developments on a variety of fronts, ranging from genetics to the potential benefits of nicotine. It’s also the year when the PD research community will get potentially field-altering results from a clinical trial into neurotrophic factors.
In this podcast, MJFF Contributing Editor Dave Iverson speaks with Foundation CEO Todd Sherer, PhD, and Vice Presidents of Research Programs Brian Fiske, PhD, and Mark Frasier, PhD, about some of what lies ahead in 2013.
