From pancake breakfasts to golf outings, the month of May is shaping up to be another busy one for our Team Fox community. With over 50 events scheduled this month alone, there's bound to be something coming to a community near you.
Here are a few exciting events on our radar:
May 9—Tee Off Fore Parkinson’s (Hillsborough, NJ)
On Friday, May 9, Team Fox member Tom Kober and his family will host their inaugural golf outing at the Royce Brook Golf Club. With rounds of golf beginning at 1PM, the day will also include a cocktail social followed by a celebratory dinner with prizes, raffles and awards. Just shy of their $25,000 goal, the Kober’s event is already sold out and is shaping up to be a fantastic kick-off to their efforts in support of Team Fox! May 17—RIM2RIM: Grand Canyon Challenge (Arizona)
In just a few weeks, a group of 20 Team Fox members will see one of the world’s seven natural wonders like never before. Setting out before sunrise on Sunday, May 17, the group will hike from the Grand Canyon’s South Rim to the North Rim—traveling 24 miles and over 6,000 vertical feet – in just one day! While registration for this Rim2Rim hike is closed, follow along with the team’s progress and share words of encouragement with them using #TeamFoxRim2Rim.
May 22—RiverBREW 3.0 (Newburgh, NY)
Building on the success of the past two years, the Kelly family returns to Newburgh Brewery once again for the Third Annual RiverBREW. A fun and casual evening of great beer, food, raffle and live music, RiverBREW is the perfect night out for friends and family. May 25— Seventh Annual Dick Deery Run/Walk for MSA (Rangeley, ME)
Gather your friends and join Team Fox member Holly Deery and her family for their 7th Annual fun run/walk in the quaint town of Rangeley, Maine. Offering a 5K run, 2 mile walk or 1 mile Fun Run for Kids, this is the perfect family friendly event for getting outside and enjoying the arrival of spring. May 30—Prelude to a Cure (Cleveland Heights, OH)
Calling all music enthusiasts! Join Team Fox members Karen and Marc Jaffe for an evening of classical chamber music at St. Paul’s Church featuring twenty members of the famed Cleveland Orchestra.
