This past June, Team Fox successfully launched the Team Fox Summer Series: a seasonal fundraising guide aimed at helping members transform their favorite summer activities into Team Fox fundraisers. From birthday parties and Hawaiian luaus to backyard BBQs and neighborhood block parties, individuals all across the United States creatively infused the Team Fox spirit into their summer shindigs.

While all Summer Series events were a great success, one family in particular really brought the heat. Inspired by their cousin John Ryan—a Team Fox member, mentor and 2013 NYC Marathon runner with Parkinson’s—the Mallory and Frattina cousins (JJ- 13, Laurie- 10, Nicholas-8, Shannon-6 and Erin-10) set up a Summer of Fox Stand outside of their grandmother’s beach house in Long Beach Island. Selling fresh-squeezed lemonade, popcorn and homemade crafty wares to neighborhood passerby each weekend that they gathered over the summer, the group raised an impressive $650 in support of Team Fox!

While the season for summer fun may be over, Team Fox is excited to help you make the most of your transition back to school and into September’s cooler temperatures with the Team Fox Fall Series.
