Watch: Michael J. Fox Answers Your Questions in a Google+ Hangout

Earlier this afternoon, Michael J. Fox joined contributing editor Dave Iverson and members of our Patient Council to discuss life with Parkinson's disease in a live Google+ Hangout.

Responding to questions submitted by our online community, and asked by Patient Council members Soania Mathur, Carey Christensen, and Bret Parker, the digital conversation featured much of Michael's trademark optimism. Offering insight on his return to TV, Michael took stock of the few barriers before him, “The only thing I can’t do is play someone who doesn’t have Parkinson’s.”

Watch the full video to hear Michael's advice on living with Parkinson's, exercise to manage symptoms and how to get involved.

This inaugural Google+ Hangout for The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research continues our practice of community outreach through online engagement. Follow the Foundation on FacebookTwitter and Instagram for the latest updates and opportunities to engage and help us speed a cure.

The MJFF Patient Council was established in March 2009 as a formal channel for the Foundation to solicit input from Parkinson's disease patients and the broader Parkinson's community.
