Ted Thompson recently spoke to Comcast Newsmakers about the unification of The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF) and the Parkinsonís Action Network (PAN).
PAN programs have transitioned to MJFF, and Thompson, who served as the president and CEO of PAN from 2014 to 2016, joins the Foundation as senior vice president of public policy.
ďItís going to be good for the Parkinsonís patient, the caregiver, the doctors, etc.,Ē Thompson said about the unification. ďSpeaking with one voice, with a research organization like Michael J. Fox behind us, weíre going to have much greater knowledge that we can use in our advocacy. The patient, I think, is going to see bigger results.Ē
