Ian Andrew Ferguson, PhD, MBA

Senior Research Fellow, Adjunct at National Centre for Adult Stem Cell Research. Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia

Dr. Ferguson received his PhD from John Curtin School of Medical Research, Australian National University.  He undertook his first post doc in the Dr RA Rush’s lab at Centre for Neuroscience, Flinders University School of Medicine, Adelaide, Australia and his second post doc in Dr EM Johnson’s lab at Pharmacology Department, Washington University School of Medicine, St Louis.  He then undertook a MBA at Australian Graduate School of Business, University of New South Wales, Sydney before working in Flinders University on industry/investor sponsored projects with a focus on p75NTR, phage display, intranasal drug delivery.  In 2007, he joined the human olfactory neural stem cell focused National Centre for Adult Stem Cell Research, Griffith University as Business Development Manager/Senior Research Fellow.
