Jared Sterneckert, PhD, is a group leader at the Center for Regenerative Therapies at the Dresden University of Technology. He received his PhD in 2005 from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, in the laboratory of Prof. Dr. John Gearhart. Dr. Sterneckert trained as a postdoctoral fellow in the department of Prof. Dr. Hans Schöler at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Biomedicine, and from 2010 to 2014 was the project leader of the Stem Cell-Based Neurodegenerative Drug Discovery group.
