Timothy C.R. Prickett, MSc, PhD

Research Fellow at University of Otago, Christchurch

Location: Christchurch New Zealand

Timothy Prickett received his PhD from the University of Otago, New Zealand. He is currently a research fellow at the University of Otago, and is a member of the Christchurch Cardioendocrine Research Group. In the course of his PhD studies he identified a novel peptide derived from the C-type natriuretic peptide pro-hormone that is found in the circulation and tissues in all mammalian species studied to date – including humans. Dr. Prickett’s research interests include understanding the relationship between circulation concentrations of C-type natriuretic peptides in health and disease in children and adults.
