Dr. Donoghue has been involved in clinical research at the Adele Smithers Parkinsonís Disease Treatment Center at the New York Institute of Technology for the past 10 years.† She has been a principal investigator on 3 publications in peer-reviewed journals as well as co-investigator on 4 other peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Donoghue has developed and overseen the Wellness Program at the Adele Smithers Parkinsonís Disease Treatment Center for the past 15 years. She has presented her work overseas at the International Conference on Alzheimerís and Parkinsonís disease (PD). Her focus in research has been to understand and to enhance exercise and nutritional therapies to improve upon functional outcomes in PD and geriatrics. In addition to her research, Dr. Donoghue is a committed clinician treating and caring for individuals with PD as well as other geriatric and movement disorders.
