CEO at Yesse Technologies, Inc.

Location: New York, NY United States

Charlotte D'Hulst is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Yesse Technologies, Inc., a venture-backed biotech start-up headquartered at the Alexandria Center for Life Sciences in New York City. Charlotte’s fascination for science lies in translating the insights one gains from studying the molecular biology of a system to real-world applications and is therefore thrilled to see her academic work materialize in Yesse Technologies. She pioneered the Orion21™ platform — the core of the company — while working on the molecular biology of the enigmatic sense of smell with co-founder Paul Feinstein at Hunter College of The City University of New York.

As CEO of Yesse Technologies, Charlotte has raised over ~$9.5 million in funding from both dilutive and non-dilutive funding sources. She immersed herself in the NYC biotech community and participated in various entrepreneurship to gain business expertise. She is a 2018 Springboard Enterprises alumna. Charlotte was trained in bioengineering at the KULeuven (Belgium) and received her PhD in biomedical sciences from the University of Antwerp (Belgium).
