Rev. Dr. Donald "Don" Berns was a born athlete, an engineer and a minister who dreamed of flying. Don passed away in June after living with Parkinson's disease for 36 years. As a boy, he loved outdoor sports and adventure, eventually learning to hang glide and skydive. His ministry reached thousands through education and pastoral care. Don is celebrated for his love, faith and perseverance by his wife of 46 years, Rev. Karen Berns, their children Joy and Jason and their spouses, five grandchildren and their extended family.
