At the conclusion of this course, participants should be able to:
- List the symptoms of hypotension in Parkinson's disease (PD).
- Recognize the causes of hypotension in PD.
- Discuss nonpharmacological and pharmacological strategies for managing hypotension in PD.
- Describe how hypertension also might play a role in Parkinson's disease.
- Summarize the STEADY-PD III trial, which is evaluating an antihypertensive drug for potential disease-modifying effects in Parkinson’s disease.
