Bill retired from his role as Chief Innovation Officer for Berkshire Hathaway’s The Pampered Chef in 2020 after a successful career running large global operations designing and developing solutions to consumer problems. Bill also is an inventor holding dozens of Patents from his work in a myriad of industries from space technology & industrial equipment to housewares.
Bill retired from his role as Chief Innovation Officer for Berkshire Hathaway’s The Pampered Chef in 2020 after a successful career running large global operations designing and developing solutions to consumer problems. Bill also is an inventor holding dozens of Patents from his work in a myriad of industries from space technology & industrial equipment to housewares.
Bill now dedicates his time to unique campaigns and sharing his experiences, helping people find their own informed and empowered path in living with Parkinson’s. Since his diagnosis, Bill has attempted to help others through various endeavors, like donating his body to science with 10 years in the Parkinson’s biomarker PPMI study and 3 years in non-invasive brain research at Stanford University, among others.
In 2017 Bill formed the all-volunteer Not for Profit UnCorked Adventures whose mission is “to help people with Parkinson’s Disease make the most out of life, while we work together to find a cure.” Uncorked Adventures holds several events every year to raise awareness and research funding for Parkinson's disease which has had Bill participating in diverse events such as walking across United States and Great Britain, climbing mountains, ultra-ski marathons and competing in events around the world.
Bill lives with his Wife of 24 years Heidi and their two children Madeleine and Evan in Wilmette, IL.
