Morton M. Kondracke joined the Board of Directors of The Michael J. Fox Foundation in 2000. He is the executive editor and columnist for Roll Call, an independent newspaper based in Washington, D.C. that focuses on politics and the federal government.
In addition, Mr. Kondracke has served as the executive editor of The New Republic, Washington bureau chief for Newsweek, a columnist for The Wall Street Journal, a correspondent for The Chicago Sun-Times, and a White House correspondent.
Mr. Kondracke is also a regular commentator for the Fox News Channel and co-hosts the weekly political show, The Beltway Boys. His previous activities include serving as a panelist for The McLaughlin Group, This Week with David Brinkley, and the Reagan-Mondale Presidential Debate on Foreign Policy in 1984.
Mr. Kondracke received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and was a Nieman Fellow at Harvard University. He is a member of the Council of Foreign Relations and serves on the Board of both Parkinson's Action Network and Funding First.
The Founders' Council was created in 2008 to recognize individuals who have made significant and transformative contributions to our Foundation’s efforts as part of our Board of Directors or as special advisors to the Foundation. Council members continue their involvement with MJFF on an as-needed basis, strategically advising on questions relevant to their areas of interest or expertise.
