Shaking With Laughter, a supporter of Team Fox, is hosting their 2nd annual Funny Fundraiser on Sat. Sept. 22nd. Last year's event featured jazz guitarist John Pizzarelli and his quartet and comedian Dave Coulier and sold out a 500 seat theater. This year they are upping the stakes and are having the benefit at the 1,000 seat Ohio Theater at Playhouse Square in downtown Cleveland. The event will feature 3 time Grammy winning blues guitarist Keb' Mo' and comedian Jake Johannsen who has appeared on the Letterman show over 40 times. There will be an online auction at http://www.charitybuzz.com/auctions/shakingwlaughter in conjunction with the event that will run through Oct. 3rd.
Anyone is invited to bid and even just register using the code "SWL" as that alone will bring in dollars for the Foundation!
Shaking With Laughter was founded in 2011 by Karen and Marc Jaffe to raise funds for Parkinson's research through events which have an element of humor. Marc is a former stand-up comedian and writer for television including Seinfeld. Karen is an OB/GYN who was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2008.
