#Break3ToCurePD: Two Runners' Ambitious Road to the 2013 NYC Marathon

This Sunday, nearly 48,000 athletes will take to the streets of New York City's five boroughs for the ING NYC Marathon. While an impressive 26.2 miles is a proud accomplishment for most, there are some runners, like Team Fox members Matt Mitchell and Amar Kuchinad, who enjoy pushing the limits of their athleticism even further.

Both avid runners and former NYC Marathon finishers, Matt and Amar have approached Sunday's race unlike any they've run before. This time around, the duo has trained with a very specific goal in mind: a sub 3-hour marathon. While the idea of running a full 26.2 miles at a 6:52/mile pace (or faster!) can be daunting at times, doing so in order to raise both funds and awareness for The Michael J. Fox Foundation keeps the #Break3ToCurePD team striding forward.

In the days leading up to this weekend, we found some time to catch up with Matt and Amar to hear about their training, their experience and their inspiration to #Break3ToCurePD.
