Mike Henry, Michael J. Fox’s new TV personality, will get a piece of the Garden State this fall.  New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will make a brief appearance as himself on an upcoming episode of “The Michael J. Fox Show,” which premieres this September on NBC. The Governor is no stranger to television, with past appearances on “Saturday Night Live” and late-night talk shows, but Christie mentioned he’s not getting a Screen Actors Guild (SAG) card anytime soon. He is sticking with politics but welcomed the chance to guest star in the show as he’s been a longtime fan of Michael as both an actor and advocate for Parkinson’s disease.

In other casting news, actress Anne Heche has been tapped for a recurring role as Mike Henry’s rival news anchor, Susan Rodriquez-Jones. “The Michael J. Fox Show” centers on the life and family of Mike Henry, a retired news anchor who decides to go back to work a few years after receiving a diagnosis of Parkinson’s.

Who would you like to see star with Michael when he returns to our television screens this fall?
