In today’s Boston Globe: How patients and Foundations are pushing forward drug development

Today, The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF) was included in an article in The Boston Globe on increased activism towards pushing drug development. The article, “Patients driving direction of new research”, discusses the growing trend of collaboration between patient groups and industries, as well as industries and Foundations, to keep speeding progress towards new therapies and ultimately cures. Some of the Foundation partnerships with biopharmaceutical companies including Biogen Idec, Pfizer and Sanofi, are highlighted as examples of this growing trend.
