Prof. Dr. Christina Lill (MD, MSc) is a physician and epidemiologist serving as the Heisenberg Professor of Translational Epidemiology at the Institute of Epidemiology and Social Medicine at the University of Münster, Germany. She also holds a part-time appointment as an Assistant Professor at the School of Public Health at Imperial College London, UK.

Dr. Lill’s research focuses on the molecular epidemiology of complex diseases, with a primary emphasis on neurodegenerative conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. A key aspect of her current research is the identification of blood biomarkers including proteomics, epigenomics, transcriptomics, and genomics predictive for disease onset and progression and their translation into further research and clinical studies.
