Kathryn Zealand is the Founder and CEO of Skip, a US pioneer in consumer exoskeletons (MO/GO) and balance-assist exosuits. Trained in theoretical physics, she has spent decades leading small, high-agency teams translating new science into durable engineering for broad populations. Her path includes applying quantum-inspired statistics to climate modeling, helping run the largest diabetes primary-care RCT at Mcinsey, founding venutures in East Africa to reduce rural poverty and launching four confidential moon-shots at Google X. As Google's GM for Wearable Robotics, she initiated work that evolved into Skip, collaborating with Prof. Elliott Rouse, DeepMind/Google Brain, and Prof. Aaron Young's lab at Georgia Tech (contributing to a Nature publication). She prioritizes devices that are comfortable, intuitive and accessible.
