Edwin A. Levy joined the Board of Directors of The Michael J. Fox Foundation in 2002. In 1979, he co-founded Levy, Harkins & Co., Inc., an investment advisory firm, where he now serves as chairman of the board. During the 20 years prior to that, he worked at Bear, Stearns & Co., becoming a general partner in 1971.
Mr. Levy served on the Boards of Directors of Coastcast Corp., Traffix Inc., and Bear Stearns Financial Products. Presently a Board Member of World Point Terminals and FutureFuel, he is also active in philanthropic work, having served on the board of the National Parkinson Foundation and presently, Continuum Health Partners, a hospital-operating company that includes Beth Israel Medical Center and St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center.
Mr. Levy received his BA from Brown University. He and his wife, Carolyne, have two children and three grandchildren.
